When it was launched in September 2023, Flowstate V1 was all about cutting through the noise. We knew people needed more than a quick caffeine hit; they needed ingredients that worked together in supporting cognition and mental stamina. With V1, we featured a 3,000mg dose of N-Acetyl L-Tyrosine to support dopamine levels under stress combined with a powerful 200mg dose of both Caffeine + L-Theanine pairing to create a state of calm focus. Then we added 100mg of zümXR® Delayed Release Caffeine to extend the energy curve and 150mg of Theobromine to smooth out the stimulant effect, reducing crash potential and jitteriness.
The feedback? V1 worked. It helped users focus longer, think clearer, and push through mentally demanding tasks. But we wanted to build something better, offering even more.
When V2 came to life in May 2024, we didn’t just upgrade ingredients; we overhauled the system.
Firstly, we changed the dosing, now recommending either 1 or 2 scoops of Flowstate depending on someone’s caffeine tolerance and daily needs. Paired with our biometric dosage calculator, users could more easily figure out how much Flowstate was right for them. This was a direct result of community feedback and became one of the most appreciated features.
With the V2 formula, a single scoop of Flowstate now contains 75mg of standard caffeine along with 75mg of zümXR® Extended Release Caffeine to deliver even more sustained energy and even fewer crashes. To balance this, we introduced GABA and 5-HTP, which help modulate mood and reduce overstimulation.
We introduced nooLVL® to Flowstate V2, a patented complex of arginine silicate inositol, with clinical backing for improving cognitive performance, especially under fast-paced, high-pressure environments like competitive gaming.
Alpha-GPC and Citicoline were added to further support acetylcholine production, the neurotransmitter that underpins memory, learning, and mental agility. We also created a Bioavailability
To support the absorption of all of these ingredients, we created a B-Vitamin Complex as well as a Bioavailability Enhancement Complex to aid in uptake. What good are all of these ingredients if you’re body doesn’t absorb them? By reducing waste, we made sure that the focus you get in every scoop is unmatched.
Just a few weeks ago, we released Flowstate V3, our most advanced formula to date. The formula uses fewer ingredients than V2 but accomplishes much more, which was our exact goal. Aided by customer feedback and newly available research, these are the changes we made:
1. Choline Optimization: In addition to Citicholine and Alpha-GPC from the previous V2 formula, we added 600mg of VitaCholine®, a premium, highly bioavailable form of choline bitartrate. This change further improves acetylcholine production while maintaining purity and consistency. As a result, the “dialed-in” feeling people are reporting from V3 is unlike anything they’ve ever felt before.
2. Bioavailability Boost: Instead of a mixture of the standard herbal extracts, we streamlined and enhanced this system with two best-in-class absorption enhancers: AstraGin® (50mg) and BioPerine® (10mg). These patented versions of the previous bioavailability enhancers we used improve nutrient uptake across amino acids, vitamins, and herbal actives, resulting in more impact from the same dosage.
3. Bye-bye B-Vitamine: As we continue to focus on having a completely synergetic product line, having the B-Vitamins in Flowstate, which all exist in Sync, didn’t make sense. If people take both products together (as they are designed), there would be an unnecessary amount of B-Vitamins getting consumed. Since this formula was all about reducing waste even further, we removed them from the formula.
4. Doing More with Less: Phosphatidylserine, Coffee Fruit Extract, and Inositol were all removed from the formula as part of the V2 to V3 transition. We thought that these ingredients were no longer having a large impact on the effects that make Flowstate special, and wanting to do more with less, we took them out.
So, what’s the result of all of this change over the generations? We make a nootropic that boasts faster onset, smoother energy, sharper cognition, and better bioavailability than anything else available on the market.
Every ingredient change from V1 to V3 wasn’t about just adding more, it was about doing more. And we did more while using less. By improving ingredient quality, delivery, and synergy, we’ve created a formula that feels lighter, hits faster, and lasts longer. Although we can’t verify their claims, we have customers saying that the focus they feel from Flowstate V3 is the closest thing to Adderal that they have experienced.
